“I believe in doing good and that we can harness technology as a force for good. As a leader at Dell Technologies, I always consider the social impact of our business and make sure sustainability and diversity, and inclusion are business imperatives. Something we strongly stand for and live by.
As part of our commitment to STEM, we launched the SheCodes Innovation Challenge in partnership with NITI Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission in India. Through this initiative, we aim to reach out to 125,000 girls and impact 3,600 children to take strides towards entrepreneurship and leadership. The objective is to bring forward girls who can contribute to innovations in water conservation and management, waste management, clean energy, smart mobility, health, and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We believe that technology and data combined with human spirit are, and will always be, positive forces in the world. We are putting the full power of our technology, expertise, and charitable dollars toward organizations that help address the immediate health, safety, and sustainability of our communities. This is driven as a corporate imperative like the work that we are doing with Citizens of the Greater Barrier Reef to ramp up on data collection to save the reefs or with Digital Lifecare platform in partnership with India’s Tata Trusts to bring preventive healthcare to millions living in remote areas.
Our team members across the region and around the world are coming together to make a difference. We believe in spearheading the next decade of responsibility and innovation and will commit to do more good for the society. It is even more credible when team members are committed and coming forward to support these causes in a year which has posed challenges for people in their personal and professional lives.”
